Warsaw museum dedicated to the right bank of the city - Prague and its heritage. Formally, the Warsaw Praga Museum was established by a resolution of the Warsaw Council in 2006 and is a branch of the Warsaw Museum (until 2014 functioning under the name of the Historical Museum of the Capital City of Warsaw). The institution collects collections from right-bank residents of Warsaw to present the history and issues of those districts, and maintains the Oral History Archive, referring to the tradition of oral communication, direct communication as a way of transferring knowledge about important events, customs, family history or community. In this way, they are guaranteed not only by written documents, but by human memory. The addressees of the museum's activities are the inhabitants of both right-bank Warsaw and the entire city, whose part is the Prague side, including, among others, local environments that have been raising the need for the institution for years, creative environments operating on the right bank of the Vistula River, tourists visiting the city, and educational institutions in the city, the scientific community of the city and the country, Jewish, native and emigrant communities visiting the capital.
