There is no designated sightseeing path, visitors decide what and when to see. For example, in the 'World on the Move' gallery you can see for yourself how astronaut Neil Armstrong felt when he stood on the moon. In the "Re: Generation" gallery we will learn what and why we are afraid. The "Light Zone" gallery is a great place for those who like criminal puzzles, and in the "Man and the environment" gallery the most important exhibit is the visitor himself. Here we learn the limits of our own capabilities, the secrets of the senses and the body. The biggest attractions include the "Heavens of Copernicus" planetarium, where thanks to projections on a spherical screen surrounding the audience from all sides and modern multimedia technologies, participants of the sessions have the impression of being in the most remote corners of the cosmos, deep in the ocean or in the middle of a volcano. During a special screening, they can even go back to the beginning of life on Earth. The curiosity of the Copernicus Science Center is Elektrybałt, i.e. an electronic poet who writes poems on request and then recites them. The prototype of this man-like machine was a figure invented by Stanisław Lem, appearing in his series of short stories "Cyberiada". Experiment stands are also located outdoors, in the "Discovery Park" located on the very banks of the Vistula River. You can communicate remotely via the "Echo", "Conference" and "Acoustic Mirrors" installations. In the summer, popular-science films and organized concerts are screened at the Outdoor Cinema at the Discovery Park.
