It is located in the baroque Ostrogski Castle. The beginnings of the museum are the 1930s. The museum has the largest collection of Chopin in the world which includes letters, notes, autographs, manuscripts of works and items that once belonged to the composer, besides the piano and other personal items. Valuable exhibits are the cast of the composer's hand and two death masks. It is the most modern biographical museum in Europe containing multimedia exhibitions and touch screens. The museum has been designed in such a way that everyone will find something for themselves, in accordance with their own interests will be able to create an individual sightseeing route. The exhibition consists of fifteen rooms, each of which creates a separate minimuseum. You can include see what Warsaw looked like at the time, meet the women Fryderyk loved, check how he lived, listen to his works and experience many other attractions.
