Sports and entertainment hall in Warsaw, located at ul. Łazienkowska, between Trasa Łazienkowska and the stadium of the Legia Warsaw football club. It belongs to the Central Sports Center. It has existed since 1953. It was modernized in 1999. It seats 4,838 spectators. It serves mainly as a concert hall, ice hockey rink or basketball and volleyball hall. On 22-28 January 2007 the European Figure Skating Championships were held here and on 22-25 March 2007 international equestrian jumping and dressage events were held here, in the rank of the Central European League World Cup Final - Sygnity Toyota World Cup, with full attendance. Torwar also serves as a concert hall for 5 to 8 thousand spectators. She hosted, among others artists such as Nickelback, Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, 30 Seconds to Mars, Pearl Jam, Iron Maiden, Placebo, Jean Michel Jarre, REM, Roxette, Shakin 'Stevens, Joe Satriani, Simply Red, Tokio Hotel, US5, 50 Cent, Dream Theater, KoRn, Slipknot, The Cure, Rihanna, Snoop Dogg, Mark Knopfler, Alicia Keys, The Prodigy, Arcade Fire, Oasis, Scorpions, Lenny Kravitz, Gotye, The Cranberries, Lana Del Rey and vocalist Led Zeppelin, Robert Plant.
