The monument is located at Podwale Street at the intersection with Wąski Dunaj Street, at the outer defensive wall of the Old Town in Warsaw. Placed to commemorate the youngest participants of the Warsaw Uprising. The bronze sculpture depicts a few-year-old boy in a German stahlhelm with an eagle, a white-and-red headband, in oversized boots and a coat, and a submachine gun over his shoulder. The monument designed by Jerzy Jarnuszkiewicz was placed on the remains of the eighth half-round tower of the outer perimeter of the defensive walls of the Old Town.
