Zegrzyński Lagoon (officially: Zegrzyńskie Lake, but this name is already less popular) is the largest artificial water reservoir in Mazovia. It was founded in Narew in 1963. Its area is 3030 km2, length 41 km. The lake is connected with Warsaw by the angler's favorite place - the picturesque Żerań Canal, about 19 km long. The lagoon is a great place to start your adventure with sailing and other water sports. Numerous ports, water camps, holiday and conference centers as well as holiday homes have been built on the shores of the Lagoon.
